Rasmus Steinke This album is in fact so good, I bought a 2nd CD to give it to a friend. Lush production, playful instrumentation and just the right amount of accessibility make this the true heir of what made the whole Seattle music scene so great back then. Destined to become a personal classic. Same applies for "Bright Side of Dim" - their previous record which was released under their old name "The Mothership" Favorite track: The Gross.

Backburner 04:02
Stabbing monsters in the dark, these butterflies morph into crows. All I need is just one spark, nothing new here just the same old Just another jumper draggin' ass the whole way down Pinned against a lonely sigh, thoughts of you distort my pulse. I can barely read my mind, nothing you will ever change at all. Just another jumper, draggin' ass the whole way down Love's a cancer in disguise, my careless heart morphs into stone. I can only be out right, I left them metaphors in all the other poems Hey, what's the matter now? I'm not the one that you thought I was... Just another jumper

Gotta Go 03:41
For all that you know, I'm a cloud of dust, stuck in limbo and so desolate. All that you know is less than none. All that I know is I've just begun I'd love to sit and tell you everything, but I've gotta go Keep your evil dramatic mess from my demons cuz they're over it. All that you know is less than one. And all that I know is enough's enough. I'd love to sit and tell you everything, but I've gotta go I love the place my head is resting now, nestled cozy here beneath the shoreline clouds. I love the place my bones are resting now, soon enough they'll be right here underground Keep your evil dramatic mess from my demons cuz they're over it I'd love to sit and tell you everything, but I've gotta go You'll never ever know... no you won't
3.
A Pick Me Up 04:17
I need a pick-me-up, I'll take whatever you got 'Cause this thread is tied in knots, the real me is starting to show This heads an over thought fermented mess of a joke Dilated inner thoughts pecking away at my loathe I'm already gone, so give me what you've got I need a pick me up, I want to put on a show Tied down and carted off, I'm certainly on a roll Shackled and left to rot, please Xana come cut me loose I'm already gone, so give me what you've got I'm already gone, so give me it all Long gone Long gone Long gone Long gone Woke up on the wrong side of my skull

The Gross 04:03
There's a craft in the sky that stalks me, sent to paralyze and taunt me... They're big blackened eyes are talking, I beg them to beam me up and carry me away... Logical thoughts are landmines the arrogant twats love mocking. Shove em all in, shove em all in, lock that box from the outside and burn em all to ash From the island of the gross, from the island of oil, watch the island explode and we all die on We all die on We all die on
5.
Dandruff 04:37
Don't tag along, I don't like it But come numb me out so I survive this Don't go fighting alone, blindly throwing stones at the troll that's guarding your one and only bridge home Don't tag along, I don't like it but don't leave yet, I can't be left alone to my own vices Don't go fighting alone, blindly throwing stones at the troll that's guarding your one and only bridge home It's time we know...

Calm down, they're here to flush us out Perched in the sky, ten miles wide Throw it out, we don't need the gavel now They're coming down, tell me who's the monster now Great, take ,em out slow Wipe the slate and rid this rock of me Shame, such a shame, shamefull silly little race Throw it out, we don't need the gavel now They're coming down, tell me who's the monster now Great, take 'em out slow Hey, come and take us out, please just shake us off our throne I'll bask in the end and bathe in the blood. about

Ten Miles Wide Seattle, Washington

The Seattle-based rock band, Ten Miles Wide, is a quartet of brusque, brooding captains. Dressed in black and steering their way through dark musical oceans, charting courses toward new creations, the four-piece prides itself on the hard-won maps its amassed over the years from playing prominent Emerald City stages and keeping their eyes and ears on new sonic territories. ... more
